Crazy Cake (because its crazy simple to make)

This is the best gosh darn scratch cake I've ever had. I've also heard it called War Cake, due to its simple and readily available ingredients.

Grease or spray 9” x 9” pan.

Sift into pan:

1 c. White Sugar
1 ½ c. White Flour
¼ c. Cocoa
1 tsp. Baking Soda

Mix together in measuring cup:

1 c. Cold Water
1/3 c. oil
1 tbsp. Vinegar
1 tsp. Vanilla

Add liquid to pan and mix into a batter. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
